About Us

Hi, my name is Cagney and I’m excited to craft with you! I have always loved to learn new crafts, skills, and hobbies. I have been lucky to have the resources to try out a range of crafts and craftsman skills and have collected a broad range of knowledge, tools and supplies. I seem to have the innate skill of “see something, figure out how to make it” and love to help others create and learn skills as well.I have a teen daughter who is autistic, non-speaking, and LOVES art! She is my inspiration for creating this studio and she helps me with the studio when she feels like it :). I believe that crafting is for everyone and my goal is to make sure my classes and spaces are accessible to all people with disabilities along with all forms of diversity. It will always be a judgment free space for the artful to the artless. A place where everyone knows “failing” is part of succeeding.

Tell us what the needs are for your group and we’ll customize a Craft experience adapted to the skills and needs of those attending. This includes:

bringing adaptive tools to help those with limited grip strength and mobility.
offering a range of available crafts to fit a variety of sensory needs, skill level, and attention span
providing a fun, fulfilling experience for all kids, adults, those with disabilities, and those without. Everyone

Prices

Due to the customization we offer our groups and classes, there are no exact prices for a group party, but generally they follow this cost model:

$100 per hour of craft class time
$5-$10 per person to cover supplies
$50 travel fee for locations more than 10 miles outside salt lake city

I do also offer to work with fundraiser events for non-profits where tickets can be sold for an additional fee which is donated to the non-profit.

Ready to start a new hobby, but aren’t sure where to start? Wanting to try a new hobby without the commitment and expense? Schedule time with our crafting studio to get personalized instruction and access to all the supplies and tools you need in one location.

Crafts are meant to be enjoyed, and no one starts perfect. We have a wide range of craft materials, tools and knowledge to help you get started or test the waters. Our studio is small and accommodates individuals or groups of up to 4 people at a time.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
While our goal is to find a space that is 100% accessible, unfortunately the current space is not. We can, with notice, provide access to a portable ramp to enter the studio, but it is a small space inside and the bathroom is not accessible.Can I bring food and beverage?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food and drinks. We do have waters available and there is a small fridge and microwave if needed. We also have an ice machine.How many people are at the studio at one time?
Our space is very small at the moment, so we restrict reservations to 4 people per time slot. There will also be one staff person on site. There are two rooms in the studio, so if you or your group would like privacy, staff are able to stay in the 2nd room to give you space.What accommodations can you support?
We do our very best to provide accommodations that fit your needs. We have various tools for people with dexterity issues. Our worktable is height adjustable from sitting to standing and anywhere in-between. Let us know about any challenges you experience when you reserve and we will customize the experience for you.Are people/children with behavioral disabilities supported?
YES! ALL people deserve the space and time to craft. The owner of the studio has a daughter who experiences behavioral difficulties as part of her disability and we are happy to accommodate anyone. If you feel you would be better with a smaller group, you can use the free support person ticket to block up to 2 spots per time slot.What if I am late?
The time you book is yours to use. If you arrive late, that is fine with us, but your ending time will not change. If you need to cancel, you can do so at least 24hrs in advance to receive a full refund. If you do not show up or cancel within 24hrs of your booking, your fee is not-refundable.Please complete a participation waiver and photo release for each person registered.
